Inaugurated on 4 May 2012 on the occasion of the awarding of the Saboly Prize, the former basin made way for the Fontaine des Félibres (Provençal poets) or Font di Felibre. This fountain was previously located in the courtyard of the former Foyer des Têtes Blanches demolished during the renovation of the Place de la Glacière.
