MARCH | The Festiv'Albatros theater festival
In the second half of March, the entire team of Compagnie L'Albatros, an amateur theater group from Perne, is mobilizing with passion and desire to offer every year for more than 10 years its theater festival that they want accessible to all.
Whether you are a theater lover, regular or curious, the Company wishes to offer you shows that will seduce you, delight you and entertain you.
APRIL | Pernes in bloom
At the beginning of April, lovers of flowers and plants cannot miss this annual fair. Everything you need to decorate your garden or balcony! Numerous activities are offered throughout the day, exhibition sale of flowers, shrubs, plants, decoration, furniture, materials...
APRIL | Pernes brings back his strawberry
In the second half of April, discover an exclusive market for strawberry producers in Comtat, an unmissable event for gourmands and gourmets!
Faced with consumers, strawberry producers present on their stalls the different varieties of this red fruit bursting with flavors. Punctuated by tastings, activities, games and music, this day is generally held as part of the farmers' market.
APRIL | Saint Mark's votive feast
For three days at the end of April, Pernes-les-Fontaines gets on party time: numerous activities make visitors happy: the traditional abrivado (photo opposite), bull races, Saint-Marc mass, Saint-Marc mass, bowling competitions, fishing competitions, games, entertainment, concerts...

From the month of JUNE | Les courses Camarguaises
Every summer, the municipal arenas of Pernes-les-Fontaines host the Camargue races, an institution! Discover this sport where the bull is king...
The aim of this bullfighting game is to retrieve various attributes attached to the bull's horns: a cockade (red), two tassels (white tassels) and the strings (yellow before, then 'natural' now), in that order. To do this, the raseteur uses a hook with sharp teeth. The man causes the animal to charge, evades and jumps the barrier to take shelter (relatively...).
But the star is the bull. We appreciate his fighting spirit, his sense of placement (which he learns over the course of the races)... It is his name that appears in large numbers on the posters and that attracts spectators.
After his performance (10 min), he returns to his pasture, where he will retire. The career of a cockatiel player lasts about ten years. If he is famous, a stele will be dedicated to him, or even a statue like Camarina de la Manade Chauvet, triple 'Bioù d'or' (best bull of the year).
