DECEMBER | The lottery season starts!
As early as December, the lottery period begins: organized by the associations of Pernes-les-Fontaines, they last until mid-February.
DECEMBER | Christmas time...
On this occasion, numerous events take place every year:
- The nursery route: from the beginning of the month, until the beginning of February.
- The Condor concert
- Christmas markets
- The opening of the Drapier and Fléchier museums during the holidays
- Etc!
FEBRUARY | The Truffle Festival 'Truffolio'
Rendezvous every year at the beginning of February for a day to discover truffles and local products, where young and old can attend cooking demonstrations and tastings. The magnificent Augustinian Room is then transformed into a truffle sanctuary for the occasion!
Exhibitors sell local products and the mysterious black diamond, the Tuber Melanoposrum truffle from Provence. Its rare and subtle fragrance will last you all day long.
Truffolio is an opportunity to discover truffles during a conference, to taste them during cooking demonstrations, to get recipe ideas, to be confident that you are buying real Tuber Melanosporum and to treat your loved ones around a good scramble or truffle omelette made without flavors.
Outside, the pig is the star during the digging demonstrations and finds, to the delight of the spectators, the truffles hidden by its master.
And many other activities: exhibitions, concerts, shows, garage sales, etc!
