Walk through the door of their workshop/shop to meet them and discover exciting jobs in the heart of the Traversée des Arts de Monteux and the Ateliers de Pernes in Pernes les Fontaines.

The image of Provence and Vaucluse is closely linked to the land, beautiful vegetables drenched in sunlight, the local markets, its flavors, its scents that emerge and so many other reasons that demonstrate that here, it is a real art of living.

3. Festivities not to be missed

Summer here has something for everyone. Whether you are a fan of theater, music or the arts there is bound to be something for you!

Among the highlights of this season, there is obviously the Monteux Fire which will take place at the end of August, a huge fireworks show, one of the biggest in the region, which honors the history of the city. There is also the Green Fest festival which, for the first time, will take place at Lac de Monteux on July 13.

On the art side, numerous exhibitions are organized at the Monteux Tourist Information Office throughout the season but also in the various places dedicated to exhibitions in Pernes-les-Fontaines.

And then, how can we talk about summer appointments without mentioning the Font'Arts festival, a street art festival with several dozen plays, shows and concerts in the streets of the historic center of Pernes-les-Fontaines on August 4, 5 and 6, 2023.

4. Make lots of memories as a family

We have no shortage of activities to do as a family this summer. Our 2 Tourist Offices offer children over 7 years old to conduct the investigation using the Intrigue dans la ville kit. Through this outdoor treasure hunt you will discover our towns while trying to solve the various enigmas that will be proposed to you! Also take advantage of the cool deals at Lac de Monteux and the Wave Island water park, ideal during the hot weather!

Meet our partners in a fun and educational way by visiting producers' farms such as goat farms or equestrian farms in Pernes-les-Fontaines.

5. A playground for athletes

Between the historic center and the wide open spaces of the Mont Ventoux Regional Natural Park, there is only one step away! A few minutes from the cultural heritage of our municipalities, there are various hiking and biking trails, including the Via Venaissia and the Via Rhôna, but also several mountain biking, Gravel and Trails circuits to satisfy all sportspeople who love nature!
