The artist also creates animal sculptures, mainly marine creatures: whales, fish, rays, turtles... To enhance each piece, she uses the Japanese Raku firing technique. Resulting from the combination of the fundamental elements – earth, air, fire and water – this method, with its unpredictable nature, imparts unique, delicate crackling patterns to the pieces.
