The Via Venaissia is a bicycle road crossing the Comtat Venaissin and which connects the Via Rhôna to the Mediterranean by bike, passing through Orange, Carpentras, Velleron and Pernes-les-Fontaines for about 31 km.
It is created on the route of an old railway line, punctuated by old stations, some of which have been rehabilitated into restaurants.
This greenway allows you to cross a good part of Vaucluse and to enjoy the typical landscapes of Provence, in the heart of vineyards and orchards.
The route is accessible via 3 (TER) train stations (Orange - Carpentras and L'Isle sur la Sorgue) and via several bus lines such as line 913 connecting Cavaillon to Carpentras via Pernes-les-Fontaines.
You can also follow other ways connected to the Via Venaisia that will lead you to the surrounding villages that you must discover !
