Le Marché de la Gare

The Marché de la Gare has been a place shared between several food shops for many years, located halfway between the historic center of Pernes-les-Fontaines and the Via Venaissia. In these places you can find a multitude of fresh products, mostly from local producers, in order to make you (re) discover the French and Provençal region. The Marché de la Gare is open every day except Monday.

Nathalie Montiel Cheese and dairy shop

Nathalie Montiel and her team present you a wide selection of cheeses coming directly from local producers in the region and from all over France such as the Alps, the Pyrenees or Corsica for example. Goat cheese, sheep cheese, cow cheese, Tomme de Savoie and Comté cheese, there is something for everyone!

A&C le Primeur de la Gare

Agnès is at the head of this quality greengrocer, which prioritizes local distribution channel by picking up fruits and vegetables directly from producers in the region. This is the case, for example, for strawberries from Pernes-les-Fontaines or asparagus from Monteux. Superb products to cook and enjoy!

You will also find a delicatessen section on site with many products such as tapenade, nougats and almonds, fruit juices, spreads and jams from Atelier Llorens and so many other delicacies.

Le Grand Bleu fish store

For more than 10 years, Le Grand Bleu has been located at the Marché de la Gare and offers fish and seafood lovers a multitude of fresh products, most of them from the Mediterranean Sea, with a daily arrival. You will find whole fish, in thick slices, skewers or fillets carefully selected by the fish shop team to offer you a wide variety of tasty products.

The little extra: In summer, many specialties and fish skewers are made on site to share with friends for successful grilled food!

The butchers de la gare

Set up in these places since 2013, La Maison Barrès offers quality meats directly from local farmers and the region as well as exceptional meats such as Kobe beef. There is also a delicious selection of Provençal cooked meats as well as a caterer area offering olive cakes, chorizo soufflés and many others!

The Avitus Cave

It is in the heart of the Marché de la Gare that you can find one of the smallest cellars in Vaucluse, it is the Cave Avitus, present in Pernes-les-Fontaines for almost 10 years! On site, there is a wide choice of wines and spirits carefully selected by Isabelle, Arnaud and Laëtitia.

Major appellations are present such as those of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Bordeaux, Alsace or even the Loire, but you can also discover foreign wines from Italy, Australia and even Oregon in the United States.

What could be more logical than to eat in a place of local gastronomy , welcome to the Restaurant Nourjane.

Open every noon from Tuesday to Sunday, Nourjane and Lucie welcome you and invite you to discover their cuisine made up of local seasonal products, the vast majority of which come from organic farming. Here it is homemade that comes first!
