Rooted in the ancient bed of the Rhône, Clos Saint Michel juts out its gnarled vines from a sea of round, blond pebbles.
Soul of the estate, its old Provençal country house has not aged a bit. For nearly a century, it has brought cultures and inhabitants together in a reassuring embrace.
Franck and Olivier Mousset, who represent the 4th generation of winemakers on these lands, deeply appreciate the close union between the vines and the cellars they have rehabilitated.

Their minds, their energies and their care can thus accompany each vine, but also each tank, then each barrel, in its daily transformations.
They were able to combine the natural wealth of the land, traditional know-how and the most recent scientific data. True to the principles that regulated the Châteauneuf-du-Pape controlled appellation in 1937, they wanted to recreate an artisanal farm with limited yield.
In 2017, the estate requested its conversion to Organic Agriculture, which corresponds to the transition phase towards “Organic Agriculture” certification.
