Devant l’Hôtel de Ville, se trouve la Fontaine des Droits de l’Homme.
Construite lors de l’aménagement de la Place du même nom, elle a été inaugurée le 23 août 2002 en présence de Madame Danielle Mitterrand.
En 2004, à l’issue d’un concours, elle a été surélevée par une œuvre sculptée de Noël Pourtal qui représente les peuples de la terre.
