Labelled Ville et Métiers d'Art, Pernes-les-Fontaines is also known for the know-how of artists and artisans based in the historic center. With more than fifteen different arts and crafts branches, each workshop-boutique is a real discovery! In Monteux, the Traversée des Arts also brings together about twenty artists and artisans based in the heart of the city surrounded by the Clementine Tower and other historical monuments, a very beautiful stroll to discover many talents!

LES ATELIERS DE PERNES
Nice hanging suspension created by Ramona Bächtiger, sculpted in linden wood in the wood carving workshop at the price of 28€ (Height 10 cm, diameter 2.5 cm)
Valérie Halopé, who creates decorative and tableware objects, offers here boxes made of earthenware. After the first cooking of the earth, they are decorated by superimposing enamel, which will give this intensity of the colors. They will then undergo a third firing so that the gold point deposited in each drop of enamel gives all its brilliance. They can be sold separately between €45 and €70.
Atelier Kalamusa integrates pearl embroidery as well as various materials such as fabrics or lace into its paintings. Here it is a painting made in ink on paper decorated with lace and fabric. Small size work: 18x22 cm, sold at a price of 75€.
At the JO.L workshop, Joëlle sculpts all her creations by hand, she shapes sandstone to create characters, animals and decorative objects drawn from her imagination. For the holidays, Atelier JO.L offers you two unique pieces in white sandstone, which can be sold separately. The price is 90€/piece or 170€ both.
The Landry Clément workshop, creator and restorer of wooden works of art but also leaf gilder, offers you a lamp sculpted and created in solid oak, a very beautiful object at the price 149€.
Maïthe Créations makes contemporary works on various supports and with different materials: paint, origami. Here she offers you a contemporary work entitled 'Meditation'. The technique used is oil on wood with different materials: marouflaged fabric, medium and metals at the price of €300.
THE CROSSING OF THE ARTS
At Studio Chefraled, Frédéric has been exploring the art of stained glass for several years and is exhibiting his multiple colorful creations in Monteux. For the holidays, he created a work entitled 'BELEN', a stained glass pocket crib entirely made in his workshop at a price of 210€!
The Arts Boutique, located at the Monteux Tourist Information Office until the end of December, offers a wide range of unique pieces made by the artists and artisans of the Traversée des Arts. You will find ideas for giving as a gift, decorating the tree, but also creations in stained glass, ceramic or mosaic, and what to dress up a table for the holidays.
From illustrated storybooks to carved wooden lamps or even bohemian and poetic jewelry, discover beautiful creations from €10!
