Located in the Traversée des Arts in Monteux, you will find in the Chefraled in Vitraux studio many facets of stained glass (Lead, Tiffany, Grisaille Painting & Fusing), which you will explore thanks to introductory courses offered on request.
Accessible for different audiences (adults & able-bodied children or with disabilities) you will have the opportunity to discover this Living Art in different languages (French, English & Spanish). With numerous achievements to his credit in France and abroad (the Cathedral and the Castle of Prague, the churches of Crillon le Brave & Monteux). This workshop is dedicated to custom-made creations of stained glass in various forms (La Bastide de Gordes, the Chapel of Black Penitents in Monteux, Parisian or Catalan apartments).
Frédéric Schendel, a stained glass artist in Monteux, teaches children and adults and can offer you thematic tours & presentations of the world of stained glass, including a visit by reservation to the Chapel of Black Penitents in Monteux and the stained glass windows of Mercy created by the workshop in 2018.
You will find original decoration ideas to beautify your home & renovate your stained glass windows; lights, mirrors, screens and other achievements at the confluence of Art Nouveau, Art Deco or Pre-Columbian Art. In addition, since this year, thanks to the biblio-stained glass, you can now access books devoted to stained glass in free consultation on site.
