The Tour de France in Sorgues
On Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at noon, the queen stage of the Tour de France will start from Sorgues to Malaucène and with a double ascent of Ventoux on the program
ASO has planned a fantastic stage for the Tour de France riders! The stage, which is 199 kilometers long, will cross 5 hills, including an unprecedented double ascent of Ventoux!

Gordes coast: 2.5 km at 5.1%
Col de la Liguière: 9.3 km at 6.7%
Mont Ventoux (by Sault): 22 km at 5.1% Mont Ventoux (by Bédoin): 15.7 km at 8.8%

A 100% Vauclusian stage
Starting from Sorgues, the stage will cross the Porte du Ventoux territory (Bédarrides, Althen and Pernes) to go to Apt, then go up in the direction of Ventoux.
With passages through Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes or Roussillon, this stage promises to be a delight for the eyes.

To see the tour
The Tour caravan will leave at 10:00am while the cyclists will leave at 12:00pm for the fictional start.
The real start will be around 12:15 at the exit of Sorgues (D16).
The Ventoux should be crossed the first time around 15:45 and then the second time around 17:15.
The Caravane, for its part, will stop at the first pass in Malaucène, around 14:24 p.m.
