Discover the secrets of making 1844 Confectionery. You will witness the production of our specialties at the foot of Mont Ventoux, one thing is certain, you will not regret it!
Indeed, depending on the progress of production, you will have the right to a small presentation of the confectionery and of course a tasting for the greediest, young and old alike!
Before your eyes, the confectioner will transform molten sugar into candy paste and then, for your greatest pleasure, the dough will take the fun forms of candy cans and lollipops. While working on its preparation, he will explain the processes and his actions to you, and you will enjoy with him the delicate scents and the flavors that have disappeared.
To attend the candy factory, come in the morning instead.
New in 2024: milk caramel!
You will then discover our star product of the region, 'le berlingot' from Carpentras and all our handmade creations, lollipops, fruit pastes, marshmallows, chocolates... A real dive into the world of confectionery.
You can also find a video projection of the history of confectionery and a scent workshop in the shop to discover the scents of candy.
You will know the different steps to make all their sweets:
- Aromatization and coloring of the paste, cooling, mixing and damping.
- The passage on the candy train dating from the 1930s
- Old-fashioned candies with icing in the suckers
- Fruit pastes
- With handmade lollipops
In the shop you can treat yourself to a range of chocolates and confectionery, pleasures with natural flavors and vegetable dyes.
This is a gourmet visit where you will leave with memories to satisfy the whole family, because with us there is something for everyone!
